What we do…
We take one entire category of wedding planning off your list.
Most couples don't think hard about the bar until three weeks out.
That's when it hits them: someone has to buy four hundred pounds of ice, find enough coolers, cut garnish the morning of, and stand behind a table for five hours instead of being at the wedding.
Not enough ice. One bartender for a hundred and forty guests. A line so long people stop going back.
None of it is expensive to prevent. All of it is miserable to fix at six o'clock on your wedding day.
After hundreds of events, we know what goes wrong before it does.
And we don't just hide behind the bar — our team clears glassware and keeps your reception space tidy all night.
Where it all started…
I'm Kaelin Anderson. I started Pour Special Events because I love this industry and I love this town.
Fifteen years ago I got my start in hospitality. The last eleven have been centered entirely on beverage service.
Somewhere in there, this stopped being a side project and became a staple of the event scene in Honesdale.
Weddings, engagement parties, showers, birthdays, corporate events. And yes, funerals. We've done it all.
These days I have a team of bartenders I trust completely. My job is making sure every event is one we're proud of.
We're a registered LLC, fully insured, with RAMP-certified staff — in compliance with Pennsylvania law and venue requirements.
We'll send your venue a certificate of insurance, usually before they think to ask.
